Bayside Marine, one of the South Shore’s premier boating destinations, is seeking a Big Ticket Sales Manager to lead boat and marine product sales at our Duxbury location. This role is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of new and used boats, outboards, trailers, and marine electronics , while delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery. The ideal candidate is passionate about boating, highly organized, and experienced in marine or high-value product sales . Key Responsibilities Sell and market Grady-White boats, Yamaha outboards, Load Rite trailers, and related marine products. Manage new boat, used boat, and brokerage sales from lead generation through closing and delivery. Conduct on-water demos and boat deliveries for customers. Maintain a structured lead tracking and follow-up system to convert prospects into sales. Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction. Inventory & Product Management Maintain accurate inventory records, pricing, and big-ticket product databases. Work with management to determine appropriate inventory levels for boats, motors, and trailers. Ensure all boats on display are properly cleaned, priced, and marketed. Manage listings and documentation for used and brokerage boats, including engine hours and specifications. Complete all required sales documentation, including: registration applications, invoices for boats, electronics, and trailers, sales tax documentation, and warranty registrations. Coordinate with the service department for boat preparation, rigging, and PDI inspections. Manage electronics inventory and coordinate installations. Marketing & Events Manage Bayside’s sales marketing initiatives and budget, including manufacturer co-op programs. Plan and execute customer events and sales promotions, including: Spring Open House, Mid-Summer Cruise, Fall Open House, and Annual Boat Show. Assist with setup and staffing of Bayside’s major annual boat show. Product Expertise Stay current on marine electronics, accessories, and new product releases. Attend manufacturer training programs and dealer meetings. Qualifications Previous experience in boat sales, marine industry, or high-value product sales preferred Strong customer service and relationship management skills Knowledge of boats, outboards, trailers, and marine electronics Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deals and customer relationships simultaneously Base Salary + Commission Commission opportunities on: new boats, motors, trailers, electronics, used boat sales, and brokerage sales 401(k) with company contribution Paid vacation and holiday schedule Paid sick leave Additional time off during the Christmas holiday period Full-time position based in Duxbury, Massachusetts Saturday availability required during boating season Bayside Marine Corp. is a smoke-free workplace About Bayside Marine Bayside Marine has served the South Shore boating community for decades and is a trusted dealer of Grady-White boats and Yamaha outboards.
