This role optimizes revenue while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and plays a key part in executing sales and marketing strategies.Key responsibilities include:Own and manage the Business Transient segmentProactively solicit and manage a portfolio of accountsMeet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goalsPartner with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategiesConduct site visits, inspections, and client meetingsIdentify leads and negotiate contracts to secure businessParticipate in local community and industry organizationsCollaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless serviceUtilize sales systems to track performance and forecastingHost or support quarterly client events as neededEducation and experience requirements include:35 years of hotel or hospitality sales experienceHigh School Diploma required; college degree preferredProven success in prospecting, negotiation, and closingStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience with sales and catering systemsWork environment and requirements include:Office-based with local and regional travelFlexible schedule based on business needsAbility to attend events and stand/walk for extended periodsReliable transportation requiredEqual Opportunity Employer.
