Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for the management of day-to-day and goal achievement of the Distributor Sales and National Accounts departments.

Work environment is dynamic. Must drive, walk, and work in all weather conditions, including hazardous on rare occasion. Periods of sitting and working at a computer may also be necessary. Sedentary work is performed in an office. Typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and phone are used. There may be exposure to factories or jobsites that include noisy, dusty, and dirty environments and motorized equipment that may pose safety hazards. Reaching is necessary above shoulder height and below the waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. as required to assist with materials; proper lifting techniques required. Travel may also be requested to any company manufacturing and branch locations in the US and Canada.

Essential Functions
- Assess current team and coach them on a development path to achieve budget.
- Utilize reporting tools that can assist in tracking activity levels and required sales metrics.
- Analyze metrics and nurture behavior into successful actions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Lead efforts for relationship development with National Accounts and Distributors.
- Monitor and facilitate National Account bid processes, negotiations, and agreements.
- Communicate frequently with all departments – Customer Service, Engineering, Accounting, etc- to facilitate efficient customer relationship and ordering processes.
- Lead Sales interactions with Product Development departments to communicate End User / Market trends critical to NABCO’s product and sales strategy.
- Manage daily activities of the Distributor Sales and National Accounts.
- Prepare budget forecasts, mid-term plans, and communicate actual results from time to time as requested by the Executive team.
- Function as the main representative to AAADM by attending meetings and communicating with the BOD.

- Knowledge of manufacturing, sales, and distribution processes, as well as product line and competition
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Concise and professional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively/effectively with people at all levels
- Self-motivated and creative with a strong desire to succeed and surpass goals
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, SalesForce, etc.)
- Highly organized with the tenacity to succeed in a growing and fast paced organization
- Forward thinking, adaptable, and creative leader, capable of strategic thinking and planning
- Able to manage change, influence others, be a team player, and gain group commitment
- Willing to travel on a daily basis by personal vehicle and public transportation
- Must have an insured and reliable vehicle and a clear driver’s license history
- Five to seven years of experience in directing, coaching and training teams of outside direct sales representatives
- Knowledge of automatic doors or similar products required
- Knowledge of contracts as related to construction and distribution agreements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Operations, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales preferred
- Work experience with CRM products like SalesForce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
