Founded in 1966, Paul Davis is a rapidly growing network of more than 370 independently owned and operated franchises in the United States and Canada.Paul Davis will grow to become over a $2 Billion business in the next 5 years.Position: Business Development ManagerHours/Week: Full-time, 40+ hoursCompensation: Strong base salary commensurate with experience plus commission, bonus opportunities, PTO, sick days and paid holidays, cell phone and computer provided by company.Reports To: OwnerTerritory: West Hartford, CTSummary:To increase awareness of the Paul Davis brand, to promote the services of Paul Davis, to build industry relationships.Responsibilities:Build strong relationships with current and potential clients through B2B, organized events, and cold calling, organize and schedule a calendar of consistent Business-To-Business visits, manage marketing programs found on the Marketing Activity Planner (MAP), ensure staff uses the Paul Davis brand correctly in accordance with Brand Standards, utilize marketing technology software to upload contacts to the CRM, send email campaigns, customize and print marketing collateral, track sales calls, leads, referrals, and notes, collaborate with the franchisor, read weekly communications, and schedule consistent meetings with the Regional Marketing Manager, manage social media accounts, post relative content and graphics, monitor all reviews and feedback and reply/follow-up accordingly, attend business networking functions to promote the business, coordinate and manage community and charitable events, schedule, manage, and present Continuing Education courses, research local trade shows and coordinate Paul Davis booth set-up, attend training courses and annual conference seminars as requested, any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a needed basis.Skills and Knowledge:Strong verbal and written communications, strategic thinking and planning, project management and multitasking capability, strong organizational skills, exemplary computer skills, i.e. Internet & Microsoft Office.Personal Characteristics:Professional demeanor, personable, presentable, articulate, open, cooperative, enthusiastic, self-directed with exceptional initiative.Qualifications:Three or more years direct sales experience, marketing, public relations or communications degree preferred, franchise, restoration, construction/home improvement, and/or insurance industry experience ideal.Paul Davis is an equal opportunity employer.Since 1966, Paul Davis has been an industry leader in the areas of property damage mitigation, reconstruction and remodeling.
