We are now looking to appoint a Business Development & Operations Manager to help drive sales growth while supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone with proven experience in the courier or transport sector who can bring commercial awareness, new ideas, and a proactive approach to business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the courier and transport sector • Build and maintain strong relationships with direct customers • Prepare quotations and pricing with a clear focus on profitability • Manage the sales process from initial contact through to onboardingOperations Support • Assist with day-to-day operational planning and service delivery • Monitor performance to ensure high service levels are consistently met • Resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally • Work closely with the wider team to ensure customer requirements are metCommercial & Strategic Input • Contribute ideas to improve sales performance and operational efficiency • Support business growth initiatives and longer-term planning • Help develop processes that support a scalable and sustainable operation
