POSITION SUMMARY
We’re seeking an energetic Sales Representative/Estimator to drive business growth by converting incoming leads into clients, generating new sales opportunities, and representing Padilla Tile professionally on-site and in the field. The ideal candidate is coachable, tech-savvy, comfortable in construction environments, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing the sales cycle from initial contact to close, including pricing, proposal delivery, and coordinating next steps with internal teams and clients.

OBJECTIVES
- Respond promptly to incoming leads from phone, website, and referrals.
- Document and track all sales activity using company systems (CRM/Scale).
- Follow up consistently to move prospects through the pipeline.
- Meet with clients on-site and in the office to assess project needs.
- Prepare accurate pricing using spreadsheets and internal tools.
- Present proposals clearly and confidently to win customer agreements.
- Represent Padilla Tile with professionalism on-site to build customer trust.
- Communicate service options like backsplashes, showers, flooring, countertops, and masonry with clarity and confidence.
- Answer client questions and help educate them on product choices and installation benefits.
- Collaborate with office and production teams to schedule installations and material orders.
- Maintain knowledge of company services and updates.
- Track activity metrics including calls, site visits, proposals, follow-ups, and closed deals.
- Strive toward weekly and monthly sales goals.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates to leadership

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous sales experience, preferably in construction, home improvement, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets), CRM systems, and basic sales tools.
- Comfortable learning new software (e.g., BuilderTrend, Scale).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
- Professional appearance and strong customer-facing presence.
- Construction knowledge or experience on job sites.
- Experience selling home improvement services.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around job sites, including uneven surfaces, for extended periods.
- Comfortable climbing stairs, ladders, and accessing various building levels to assess all areas of potential projects.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions during outdoor site visits.
- Able to drive to client locations and job sites; must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
