We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our sales team. In this role, you will handle incoming calls, manage sales inquiries, maintain departmental records, and organize contracts. Your responsibilities will also include scheduling appointments with customers and suppliers, managing the internal budget and commissions, and conducting internet research to gather relevant information for the sales team.


To excel in this position, candidates should have relevant experience and proven administrative skills. Exceptional Sales Support Administrators enable sales teams to focus on achieving their targets by efficiently managing administrative tasks and reducing their paperwork burden.

Responsibilities

- Handling and filtering phone calls and emails from both internal and external sources.

- Coordinating appointments for the sales department, service providers, suppliers, and customers.

- Maintaining and updating records for suppliers, sales, and customers.

- Monitoring and documenting the sales team's interactions with customers.

- Preparing and organizing sales contracts and agreements.

- Overseeing the budget and commission structure for the sales department.

- Collaborating with other departments on administrative issues of mutual concern.

- Conducting research to identify potential sales leads and opportunities.

Requirements

An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in sales support administration or a similar role.

- Familiarity with sales industry software such as Salesforce and CRM systems.

- Strong understanding of administrative recordkeeping practices.

- Knowledge of sales contracts and agreements.

- Experience in managing budgets and tracking sales commissions.

- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
