Salesforce Data Conversion Lead Apply
Seeking a Data Conversion Lead who is responsible for defining, managing, and executing all client-side data migration activities required for a Salesforce implementation. This role partners closely with the System Integrator (SI), Salesforce functional leads, data owners, and the technical team to deliver a high-quality, validated, and repeatable data migration process across environments.

Job Duties - 1. Data Strategy & Planning
Assess current-state data structures, quality, dependencies, and system usage.
Support the definition of the data conversion strategy (scope, objects, record types, timeframes).
Collaborate with the SI to build the detailed conversion approach, milestones, and timeline.
Establish data standards, validation rules, and compliance requirements with SI support.
2. Data Mapping & Transformation
Create or co-develop data mapping documentation from source systems to Salesforce target structures.
Transform source data into SI-provided Salesforce conversion templates.
Resolve mapping gaps and align with functional / workstream leads on data definitions.
3. Data Cleansing & Quality Management
Work with business data owners to improve data completeness, consistency, and accuracy prior to migration.
Address data quality issues identified during design, mapping, and test cycles.
4. Trial Loads & Validation
Execute trial conversions to validate data logic, record transformation, and aligned relationships.
identify issues, document gaps, and work cross-functionally to address errors.
Partner with SI and functional leads to drive data accuracy and completeness.
5. Cutover & Go-Live Support
Contribute to cutover planning (final extract, transformation, load scheduling).
Support final data validation and reconcile results post-load.
Ensure alignment with other workstreams such as testing, environments, and deployment.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with SI data teams, internal functional leads, and IT groups to ensure unified data strategy.
Support AP Data Owners in preparation and execution of data tasks.
Job Requirements - Technical & Functional
Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud data model (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Activities, custom objects).
Experience with enterprise data migration lifecycle (extract, transform, map, validate, load).
Ability to read and create data mapping, data dictionaries, and conversion templates.
Familiarity with data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader) and structured data formats (CSV, SQL, XML).
Experience resolving data quality issues and defining validation rules.
Program & Delivery
Experience partnering with a System Integrator (SI) while representing the client's interests.
Ability to support multiple iterations of data loads across sandbox environments.
Strong coordination and communication skills across functional, technical, and business teams.

Desired Skills & Experience - Experience with large-scale Salesforce implementations.
Background in CRM, ERP, preferably SAP, or legacy-to-cloud migration programs.
Prior experience in regulated or complex multi-region environments.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and master data principles.
