Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles)

Primary Duties (80%): Serve as the development specialist responsible for the design, development, testing and documentation of the technical software solutions. Solve system design problems and programming issues. Ensure that the solutions are integrated and enhanced to meet the needs of the agency's business plan.

Primary Duties (15%): Provide technical leadership to the application development team, agency, and external groups

Primary Duties (5%): Research and evaluate relevant technology as it pertains to the business strategy

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing aligned with organizational goals
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Salesforce certification required
5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, SQL, Java, and web services development
Preferred:
Experience working on enterprise-level implementations
Database-related certifications
