JOB TITLE : SALESFORCE DEVELOPER

WORKSITE ADDRESS: ONE FEDERAL STREET, SUITE 600, BOSTON MA 02110 (HYBRID)

PROJECT(S) DURATION: 1 YEAR

Other Schedule Related: This position must overlap with the working hours of the rest of the team, which are 8:45am-5pm M-F, but occasionally could require before or after-hours work for vendor meetings, testing, deployments, and emergency system recovery.

Position Summary:
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce developer to troubleshoot and enhance a recently launched Salesforce application, ensuring optimized functionality and public service delivery. The ideal candidate brings both technical fluency and a deep understanding of how to map.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that align with agency goals, compliance frameworks, and service mandates
  • Collaborating with program managers and policy leads to converting operational requirements into functional Salesforce capabilities
  • Ensure platform configurations meet data governance, cybersecurity, and accessibility standards including FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508
  • Integrate Salesforce with legacy systems to streamline workflows and enhance interagency collaboration
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to government teams, fostering long-term platform sustainability

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Hands-on Salesforce Development: 3 5+ years of direct experience in developing and shipping Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce pages
  • Salesforce Data Model Proficiency: Advanced skills in designing and refactoring complex custom objects, lookups, master-detail relationships, and automation (Flows, Process Builder).
  • Integrations experience: Build/Maintain integrations API (Rest/Soap) with 3rd parties, OAuth, Mulesoft, etc.
  • Testing/Deployments: Automated tests / BDD; CI/CD - Copado expertise
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and public sector IT compliance frameworks
  • Ability to translate programmatic needs into agile technical solutions
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
  • Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
  • Salesforce Certified Consultant (Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud)
  • Scrum experience is preferred
