Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Lead (CI/CD, Metadata API, Shield, Git Multi-Tenant)
Location: Albany,NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications- DevOps Engineer with extensive experience working on complex, enterprise-scale projects
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a DevOps engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience delivering DevOps solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages
- Strong command of Git, YAML, and CI/CD pipeline scripting
- Experience with Salesforce security features including Shield Encryption and SSO configuration
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Salesforce platform
- Manage Salesforce environments, sandboxes, and version control strategies (Git, branching models)
- Automate deployment, rollback, and release validation processes
- Coordinate sandbox refresh schedules and data seeding activities
- Integrate automated deployment approvals aligned with Salesforce CoE and Architecture Review Board governance
- Maintain metadata management and packaging strategies for multi-agency Salesforce environments
- Support tenant management and enforce data isolation strategies across agencies
- Integrate automated unit and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with QA and Solution Architects to develop reusable testing frameworks
- Track and report release metrics including defect rates, deployment success/failure ratios, and deployment duration
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Salesforce Shield)
- Work closely with Solution Architects and Development teams to ensure release readiness
- Develop release checklists, training materials, and DevOps handbooks
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers during Salesforce CoE expansion initiatives
