Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Lightning Developer to join a global technology team supporting Salesforce initiatives within the Retail and Investment Management business of a banking client.

The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce solutions, ensuring that new features and enhancements align with the organization's technology vision and business needs.

This position requires a confident developer with strong coding ability and deep expertise in Salesforce Lightning development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements within the Salesforce Lightning platform.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Build reports, dashboards, workflows, and automation within Salesforce.
  • Develop Apex test classes and scripts to ensure code coverage and maintain system reliability.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST APIs and web services.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping to demonstrate solutions and address complex business challenges.
  • Ensure development follows DevOps best practices including version control, CI/CD, and Salesforce DX.
  • Work within Agile development methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with global teams and provide technical insights and recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7 10 years of overall IT experience, with strong Salesforce development expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Platform.
  • Strong programming experience with Apex, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience building Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and Workflows.
  • Knowledge of SQL and SOQL for database queries.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using RESTful APIs and third-party systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DX.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in Financial Services / Banking industry is preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must be local to Massachusetts or surrounding Northeastern states.
  • Must be able to attend 100% onsite interviews.
  • Strong hands-on coding ability is mandatory.
