• Qualifications:

Engineer/CS Graduate, 10+ years of experience, SFDC Certified, can assess DevOps process and can implement end to end DevOps Setup.

• Skillsets:
• Knowledge of Salesforce code and config.
• Experience using Flosum as Salesforce DevOps tool, Custom DevOps Setup using Git Concept
• Salesforce Metadata - in-depth knowledge of how declarative configuration maps to Salesforce metadata, Vlocity (SFI) knowledge will be added advantage.
• Hands-on Salesforce Release Tools: VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Ant, VBT (Additional)
• Version Control: GIT and/or SVN, GitHub, Bitbucket, basics + knowledge of branching/merges
• Basic Knowledge on Continues Integration Tools: GitLab Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins Pipeline, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Working towards Salesforce Dev Lifecycle & Deployment Certification
• Should have strong analytical/troubleshooting skills.

Operational Role:

• Ability to work in an agile environment where attention to detail.
• Working for long hours (during Release times) is required to ensure project success.
• Ability to multi-task and keep several operational processes running while interacting with the Customer.
• Fully understand the SFDC platform in detail including the software architecture, integration points, workflows, security settings, App and Admin setup functions
• Understand and use Build Automation tools using custom scripts.
• Manage all activities relating to Deployment functions and processes, configuration, and deployment from the various SFDC orgs through development, testing, QA, and Production.
• Work with the Development (offsite and offshore) /QA team at an operational level to ensure defect free deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy code/manual configuration to various SFDC orgs in strict accordance with an IP (installed procedure) document.
• Run sanity tests and checks to ensure zero defect deployment in a challenging environment.
• Compare deployed code and configuration of multiple SFDC orgs and report on the differences.
• Keep in close touch with the US deployment team so that an ambiguity in deployment processes is clarified.
• Refresh of existing/new sandboxes with the created Sandbox refresh IP doc
• Perform migration and update of users.
• Maintain Tracking Info:

• Deployment Status Report: Online document that shows the status of previous, current and future build/managed apps deployments.
• Audit Trail Report: Repository of all deployment logs and notes
• Audit Build Repo: All SF Code that is being deployed for the DEV to Prod life cycle.
