Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance A Senior Salesforce Architect is a technical leader responsible for designing and governing core technical frameworks (security, data models, CI/CD ensuring scalable, FedRAMP-compliant integration between Salesforce and legacy IRS mainframes/systems of record Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications Design data models, integration patterns (REST/SOAP, Mulesoft, Platform Events, External Services) and ensure system scalability Establish governance, coding standards, and best practices for declarative and programmatic development Evaluate and guide Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex implementations and conduct code reviews Manage integration with external systems such as ERP, Azure/AWS, and legacy platforms Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable architecture and mentor developers, admins, and junior architects Stay updated with Salesforce releases and features, ensuring solutions leverage the latest capabilities Required Skills & Competencies Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and integration tools like Mulesoft and ETL solutions Architectural Skills: Multi-cloud architecture design, event-driven architecture, data governance, scalable data models, and solution performance tuning Security & Compliance: Understanding of Salesforce security model, Shield, OAuth, and adherence to compliance standards Development & Deployment: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, Azure DevOps) and data migration strategies (Data Loader, Bulk APIs), Soft Skills: Strong business acumen, leadership, mentoring, and communication skills to bridge technical solutions with business objectives Qualifications 12+ years of engineering experience with 7+ years as a TA on Salesforce/MuleSoft; Salesforce Certified System Architect+ Platform Developer II+ AI Specialist required Certifications: Salesforce Architecture Track certifications are typically required Industry Knowledge: Experience in specific industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) may be preferred for enterprise implementations Expert in SAML/OIDC PIV/CAC identity implementation, LDV strategies for millions of citizen records, and Agentforce/Data Cloud intelligence
