Salesforce.com Technical Architect

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for owning and delivering complex cloud based solutions using technologies such as Salesforce, Heroku and J2EE. They will own the architecture and design of complex solution components, including integration, security, and custom development. Strong leadership skills across all stages of the software development life cycle are required. The candidate will review design elements, sign off on overall technical design, and ensure the system meets business expectations, with proper testing, performance and security monitoring. They must identify and mitigate technical design risks and provide level of effort estimates for the technical portion of solutions. Specific Duties Design and develop software components End-to-end implementation experience with the Salesforce platform Lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients Develop with Apex, Visualforce, Java, .Net, Ruby, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.js, Objective C Integrate using web technologies (SOAP, REST) and middleware tools such as Informatica, Jitterbit, and MuleSoft Handle security requirements such as single sign-on and data security Experience with release management, source control, and deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN Define system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a solution Qualifications At least 2-4 years’ experience in an Architecture role; SFDC or other CRM architecture experience a plus At least 4 years’ experience with Integration technologies Working knowledge of security concepts such as single sign-on and data security At least 4 years’ experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methods Salesforce Developer and Architect Certifications a plus Bachelor’s Degree Willingness to travel Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer Additional Information Acumen Solutions offers the opportunity for growth and advancement, as well as a competitive base salary, annual performance based incentives, medical benefits and 401k.
