Starting at $22.01/hr.

The compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's level of experience. We understand that each individual's unique background and expertise will contribute differently to our team. Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays

Responsible for cleaning and prepping trailers for paint and primer to be applied.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment.
• Wash/Rinse Trailers
• Caulk trailers to fill in weld seams
• Operate forklift to move trailers
• Must be able to climb and work from a standing platform
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of respirators, protective suits, and ventilation systems
• Maintain a clean, organized blasting area

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Education and Experience:

• Safety Conscious
• Experience with sandblasting or industrial surface preparation preferred, but training may be provided
• Forklift Experience Preferred
• Self-Motivated
• Good Attendance Record
• Must be Able to Wear Respirator
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be willing to work overtime when necessary
