Work Schedule: 3rd Shift - Monday - Friday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am - Must have availability to work rotating weekends if needed.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000/year + up to 14% yearly bonus!!
Job Responsibilities:
- Strictly follows and enforces food safety and quality policies, Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinates with the department managers and Quality Control Manager to ensure proper follow-up on all customer and regulatory issues (complaints, audits, and requests for information).
- Provides leadership and guidance to outside vendors in directing efforts to improve, maintain, and validate safety and sanitation practices and procedures.
- Examines all equipment to ensure that it works properly and meets all governmental standards. In instances of violations, develop a plan to correct them.
- Performs routine audits and sanitation inspections of equipment and recommends maintenance-repair needs for correction to comply with sanitation practices in accordance to state and federal sanitation regulations and the company's food safety standards.
- Ensures that the plant is audit ready always and provides support in all audits.
- Continuously verifies and validates sanitation effectiveness and proposes better ways to clean/sanitize, maximizing results and minimizing cost.
- Keeps detailed records of all sanitation-related activities and issues, such as inspections and violations, also notating how and when each situation was resolved.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of Sanitation Supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Master Sanitation Scheduling.
- Must have experience supporting a food manufacturing company.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Engaging Leader - works closely with team members. Invests time in getting to know their strengths, areas of improvement and works closely with them to improve.
