Job Description

The Business Analyst specializing in SAP APO/IBP will work within the Supply Chain Planning & Manufacturing IT team to support and enhance enterprise planning systems. This role involves configuring, implementing, and maintaining ERP modules related to supply chain planning, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. The candidate will analyze business requirements, design and deploy SAP APO and IBP solutions, and provide ongoing system support across global manufacturing operations.

Required Skills
  • SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS) or SAP IBP (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP)

  • SAP APO configuration experience

  • SAP IBP configuration and planning capabilities

  • CIF (Core Interface) integration

  • ECC/S4 integration with APO/IBP

  • Statistical forecasting (APO DP)

  • SNP heuristics and optimization

  • PP/DS detailed scheduling

  • Inventory optimization

  • Master data configuration (BOM, PDS/PPM, resources, location-product)

  • OData services and integration middleware

  • MES system integration

  • SAP OSS Notes application

  • Troubleshooting APO/IBP integration issues

  • Functional Design Specifications (FDS)

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP APO or SAP IBP hands-on experience

  • At least 2 full lifecycle implementations in APO and/or IBP

  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes

  • Experience working with global supply chain and manufacturing teams

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (FI/CO, MM, PP, QM, ABAP, Basis, Security)

  • Continuous improvement and process optimization

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
