Job Title: SAP EWM ConsultantLocation: Normal, IllinoisDuration: Long-TermPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong S/4HANA expertise to lead end-to-end implementation and support activities. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) business processes, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules. This role requires hands-on configuration experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and support SAP EWM business processes within S/4HANA environment.Perform master data configuration and business process mapping (Business Partner, warehouse structure, storage types, etc.).Implement and configure Process-Oriented Storage Control (POSC) and Layout-Oriented Storage Control (LOSC).Configure and support Yard Management and Transportation Unit Management.Work extensively with SAP Fiori apps related to EWM.Develop and support enhancements within EWM; perform basic ABAP debugging as needed.Manage EWM queues and monitor warehouse activities.Ensure integration of EWM with SAP QM, PP, MM, and SD modules.Handle inbound delivery processing, warehouse order management, and task management.Configure and support Batch Management and Handling Unit Management in GR/GI processes.Implement Production Supply processes including Kanban.Configure Packaging Specifications and map customer-specific warehouse requirements.Implement and configure Wave Management.Manage internal warehouse processes, warehouse controls, and warehouse monitoring.Configure bin replenishment (manual and automatic processes).Support and execute Physical Inventory processes.Required QualificationsBE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.6–10 years of total SAP EWM experience.At least one full-cycle EWM implementation and one EWM support project experience.Minimum 2 years of experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and implementation of SAP WM, MM & EWM.Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP EWM.Knowledge of SAP Info-structures.Experience following established working practices and standards.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of EWM master data and warehouse structure setup.Experience in EWM queue management and monitoring.Integration expertise across SAP modules (QM, PP, MM, SD).Experience in enhancements and basic ABAP debugging.Strong knowledge of warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, wave, replenishment, and physical inventory.Behavioral & Personal AttributesOpen to new ideas and innovative approaches.Ability to understand and model complex business processes in SAP systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.Team player with willingness to support peers and share knowledge.Customer-focused and result-oriented mindset.Actively participates in Knowledge Sharing Sessions (KSS) and promotes best practices across teams.
