Data Analyst

Location: Trenton, NJ 08625(Hybrid 3 days on-site)

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Must have knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, and JavaScript and experience with SAP BusinessObjects is highly desired.

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our IT team.
• This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a contract position.

What You'll Do :

• Review the client organization's current and legacy data to evaluate data quality and opportunities for improvement
• Research new data sources and analytical tools, such as those available in third-party platforms such as AWS
• Contribute to new application and report development, as well as implementing improvements in product delivery and presentation, through the use of database applications and analytical tools
• Engage our internal customers in their data collection efforts and seek their feedback on any modifications and improvements they intend to implement

What You'll Need Required:

• Proficiency in data analysis
• Data modeling, data mining, and database design & optimization
• SQL programming
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS.SAS
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data
• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, and JavaScript
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models,
• techniques for data mining, and segmentation
• Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects and/or
• programming (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks) databases
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing

Desired:

• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects
• JavaScript, XML, and/or other ETL frameworks

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
