This role is designed to be part of the SAP Centre of Expertise (CoE) organization at BRP. This group consists of both business process and technical experts across multiple domains, providing support and continuous improvements to enable the business and wider organization to achieve its goals and future growth objectives. We are looking for smart, independent, and motivated individuals who are excited to be part of this exciting growth journey.YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Act as the technical expert for ABAP and assist with identifying technical solutionsDevelop and provide standards and best practices for SAP developementSupport project delivery and application maintenance teams in developing high quality solutionsDevelop technical blueprints/specifications and support deliverables while following practices and standards in placeParticipate in relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including code, build, test and deploy.Support review of technical design standards and specificationsWork with Application Management Services (AMS) teams and other partners, and contribute towards continuous improvement and application maintenance activitiesAcquire knowledge of emerging functionality / dev solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the businesses, where appropriate Participate in the elaboration of projects/implementations and continuous improvement initiativesContribute to decisions on product, tool, and method selection, providing input on industry trends YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: University degree or equivalent by experienceMinimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP and developmentExperience in WRICEF, Module Pool Programming, Interfaces (IDOC, RFC,BAPI,ABAP Proxy), Workflow, Webdynpro, creation and modification of Data Dictionary Objects, ALV,BAPIs, function modules, OOPS ABAP, Workflow Objects, BADIs, User exitsBase understanding of Embedded Analytics, SAPUI5/Fiori development, Gateway development, SAPUI5 troubleshootingUnderstanding of S4 HANA Modern ABAP Development, VDMs, ABAP CDS, Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) Basic SAP Functional knowledge in FI, MM, SD, eWM, TM.Proficient in development practices and proven methodologies (Agile)Perform an active role in the internal and external brainstorming and management meetings to bring our technical solutions to the next level.Experience working with third-party integrations with SAPExperience with cutover, go-live and data migrationExperience with international and large-scale projectsTraining skills to share and transmit your know-how to your peersDynamic, innovative & problem resolution focus with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to constantly adapt and perform in ever evolving environments and business realitiesYou’re able to work in French and English (written and oral) to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITYBRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
