Job Description:
As a Business Function Designer, you will be an integral part of the consulting team, helping to design and analyze new business processes for the project. You will define detailed requirements, serve as a liaison to the business community, and participate in user and task analysis to ensure the business perspective is represented. Your role will involve making key decisions, leading the team, and providing innovative solutions to improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis & Design: Support the analysis and design of business processes, specifically within the Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) domain.
- Requirement Definition: Identify and define detailed business requirements, ensuring they align with both business needs and technical capabilities.
- Liaison to the Business Community: Act as the point of contact between the technical team and business stakeholders, facilitating communication and understanding of business goals.
- SME Leadership: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in warehouse management, leading teams in key decision-making processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams to influence decisions and drive project success.
- Warehouse Management Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize warehouse management processes to improve efficiency and business performance.
- Logistics Management Strategies: Provide expertise in logistics management strategies, offering insights for process improvements.
- Function Design Documentation: Document functional designs and support the team in FIT/GAP analysis and testing to ensure successful system implementation.
- Transportation Solution Confirmation: Lead workshops to confirm transportation solutions and configurations, specifically related to LE-TRA (Transportation Management).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in SAP EWM (Warehouse Management).
- Intermediate proficiency in Business Process Design and Functional Designs.
- Intermediate proficiency in Warehouse Management.
- Beginner proficiency in Logistics Management.
- LE-TRA Configuration experience (Transportation Management).
- Understanding of Transportation Processes and best practices.
- SAP Inventory Management experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- SAP TM (Transportation Management).
- SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
- SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).
Responsibilities:
- Lead Transportation Solution Confirmation workshops.
- Configure LE-TRA for Transportation Management.
- Create Function Design Documentation.
- Perform FIT/GAP analysis.
- Support the team with Key Design Decisions.
- Ensure effective testing and validation of solutions.
Industry Experience:
- Not required but preferred. Experience in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
Education:
- No specific educational requirements but having relevant qualifications or certifications will be beneficial.
Comments for Suppliers:
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
- Hybrid work arrangement; no need to be local to Raritan, NJ.
