Position: SAP Functional S4 HANA Solution Architect

Location: Pennsylvania and North Carolina (Hybrid)

Duration: 15 Months Contract

Job Description:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of SAP S/4 HANA solutions, with a focus on the functional areas of SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and TM (Transportation Management).
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance in the development of functional designs, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business needs, industry best practices, and SAP capabilities.
  • Define and document SAP functional and integration requirements with a specific focus on integrations with FI/CO and EH&S.
  • Oversee the successful implementation and deployment of SAP S/4 HANA solutions, working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Lead and participate in Greenfield implementations, ensuring proper design, configuration, and testing to ensure the solution meets business objectives.
  • Participate in SAP solution design workshops and contribute to the overall blueprinting process for international SAP deployments.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for SAP functional solution design, translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of the SAP solutions in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration, data migration, and testing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, especially within FDA-regulated environments (if applicable).
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP trends, functionality, and industry developments, particularly in SAP S/4 HANA, to provide innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in SAP functional design and implementation, with a proven track record of successful S/4 HANA projects.
  • 5+ international SAP deployments, with hands-on experience in global rollouts, ideally involving Greenfield implementations.
  • Expertise in SAP SD, MM, EWM, TM, and integration with FI/CO and EH&S modules.
  • Strong experience in solution design, blueprinting, and configuring SAP solutions.
  • Experience with FDA-regulated industries (pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in leading SAP teams and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, with travel to customer locations in Pennsylvania and North Carolina as needed.
