Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver complex SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects. This role requires a seasoned professional who will bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives, ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions that align with organizational strategic needs. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle from planning to post-implementation support, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ExecutionDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies Lead end-to-end SAP project lifecycle management using methodologies such as SAP Activate and ASAPMonitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project plans Stakeholder Management and CommunicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT leadership, and external vendors Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and facilitate regular status meetings Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all levels of management Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverablesTeam Leadership and Resource CoordinationLead and manage cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts Provide clear direction and leadership to project team members while fostering a collaborative environmentCoordinate project resources, including team members and third-party contractors or consultants Mentor and guide team members, providing feedback and support for professional development Risk and Issue ManagementIdentify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, escalating as necessaryDevelop contingency plans to address potential project challengesEstablish and maintain effective Issue and Risk Management plansServe as the initial escalation point for all project issues, risks, and changesQuality Assurance and DeliveryEnsure quality of project deliverables through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes Manage change requests effectively and assess their impact on the projectOversee deployment and go-live activities, ensuring smooth transitionConduct post-implementation reviews and identify lessons learned for future projects
