Summary
In this role, the SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer will be required to participate in planning and executing implementations of technical components. The SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer will also verify implementation success and provide ongoing development support for delivered solutions. They will also support applications development and is responsible for business process analysis, redesign, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Work with functional teams and departments to understand business requirements and translate SAP functions into technical specifications and solutions in accordance with client standards
- Participate in meetings, validate business and technical requirements are met during the project delivery process
- Conduct training for end-users on SAP modules functionality
- Generate scripts, user guides, and operating procedures for transition into routine operations
- Design forms and screens for SAP modules using tools such as SAPscript and SmartForms, and understanding of multi-system interfaces
- Design, code and correct large and/or complex programs and program modifications as custom development, or within an existing application
- Collaborate with other developers from global headquarters
- Review of technical solutions into detailed technical design documents, ensuring all functional requirements are met
- Ensure ABAP code is in adherence to development standards as well as creating supporting documentation per documentation standards
- Hybrid work schedule available once fully integrated into the role
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of SAP S/4 HANA and ABAP experience
- Minimum 3 years of SAP MM/WM/PP experience, FICO is a plus
- Knowledge in ABAP Programing, ABAP Dictionary, ABAP OO Language, SAP Workflow
- Ability to write and debug ABAP code to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP S/4 HANA
- Demonstrate strong code comprehension and debugging skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capable of working independently, should be detail oriented, work in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work to present presentations to management
- Bachelor s degree required in computer science or related field
- Bilingual Spanish abilities are a plus, but not at all required.
