The consultant will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes within the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules. Responsibilities include configuring SAP SD and MM solutions, collaborating with clients to identify business process improvements, managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations, and providing consulting support for troubleshooting and training. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are key aspects of this role.QualificationsThe knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.Five to Seven years of relevant work experience preferredIdentifying Gaps between AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and fixing the Gaps by means of optimized solutions.Working cohesively with Business Process Owners to ensure business process design and supporting SAP configuration and developments are in line with the business needs.Configuration, development, maintenance and enhancement of various sales and procurement related processes in SAP Sales & Distribution, materials management.Production support of existing processes in SAP SD, MM (is a plus) modules.Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging.Retail/business experience preferred.BS Computer Science or related field.Ability to succinctly identify business requirements and document designAbility to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technicalAbility to multi task, work independently with minimal directionAbility to understand code and debug programs to investigate issues will be an asset.Solution oriented, creative thinkerStrong decision making and solid experience with SAP / IS Retail implementation methodology, tools and exposure to Agile methodology.
