SAP SD Lead (Implementation & Solution Design)As the SAP SD Lead, you will drive end‑to‑end SAP solution delivery across Sales & Distribution, integrating with MM, LE, and wider supply chain processes. This role is hands‑on, configuration‑heavy, and focused on S/4HANA and ECC implementation, solution design, and RICEFW ownership. You will lead workshops, make key design decisions, and guide both functional and technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead SAP Implementations * Manage full lifecycle SAP SD implementations across ECC and S/4HANA (Blueprint, Build, Testing, Cutover, Hypercare). * Own solutioning for OTC, PTP, Intercompany, Pricing, Billing, Logistics Execution and cross-functional flows.Solution Design & Configuration * Perform hands‑on configuration in SD, MM, and LE, including pricing, order types, item categories, copy control, and STO processes. * Translate business needs into scalable SAP designs and RICEFW requirements. * Localize global templates for regional rollouts.Technical Collaboration & ABAP Debugging * Use ABAP debugging for deep-dive functional analysis and root‑cause validation. * Review FS/TS deliverables and steer technical development for custom objects and integrations.Business Requirements & Workshops * Lead workshops to capture requirements, map business processes, challenge assumptions, and present best‑practice solution options.Issue Resolution & Optimization * Troubleshoot end‑to‑end issues involving config, pricing logic, IDoc/EDI, ATP, and integrations. * Recommend and implement system/process improvements to enhance automation and performance.Cross‑Functional & Integration Ownership * Partner with logistics, finance, supply chain, 3PL/4PL, and OMS/WMS providers. * Lead integration work involving IDoc/EDI, BAPI, BADI, WebMethods, PI/PO.Documentation, Testing & Governance * Produce FSDs, configuration documents, test scripts, cutover plans, and training materials. * Ensure quality delivery through structured Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.Training & Leadership * Guide junior consultants and business SMEs. * Communicate effectively with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors.Desired Skills & ExpertiseSAP SD Expertise * Strong hands‑on experience in pricing, ATP/backorders, order management, billing, delivery processes, and credit management.Technical & Debugging Skills * Skilled in ABAP debugging, IDoc/EDI analysis, and interface troubleshooting.Integration & Logistics Execution * Solid experience across MM, LE, WM, STOs, Intercompany scenarios, 3PL/4PL, and transportation processes.ECC + S/4HANA Experience * Proven track record in SAP ECC and S/4HANA configuration, implementations, and template rollouts.Project Leadership * Experience as module lead on regional or global projects with strong documentation, testing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
