Overview

SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) specialist responsible for managing and optimizing transportation operations within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage SAP TM systems to efficiently plan, execute, and monitor transportation processes

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, design transportation solutions, and implement system updates

• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for optimization

• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and improve decision-making

• Manage carrier relationships, establish contracts, and negotiate rates

• Oversee transportation execution, including order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and exception handling

• Provide technical support and training to users of SAP TM systems

• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in transportation management

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SAP TM functional and technical modules

• Understanding of transportation logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management

• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP ECC or S/4HANA

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in transportation management or logistics operations

• Proven experience in SAP TM implementation, configuration, and management

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong project management skills

• Knowledge of supply chain optimization techniques and best practices

• Experience with transportation and logistics software, such as TMS or other SAP modules
