Job Description:
· We are looking for a highly skilled SAP VMS (Vehicle Management System) Consultant with 10+ years of experience to lead the SAP S/4HANA transformation project for a leading OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP VMS, covering the full lifecycle of vehicle management, including integration with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and other modules in the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) as part of the broader SAP S/4HANA transformation project.

· Work closely with business stakeholders to understand the end-to-end vehicle lifecycle management process and map it to SAP S/4HANA VMS functionality.

· Conduct workshops with key business users to gather detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with the project’s objectives.

· Configure and optimize vehicle order management, vehicle master data, and the vehicle sales process, ensuring integration with Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM),Production Planning (PP), and Finance (FI/CO)

· Oversee the end-to-end vehicle tracking process, from procurement and production through sales, delivery, and aftermarket services.

· Ensure seamless integration between SAP VMS and other systems such as customer relationship management (CRM), dealer management systems (DMS), and supply chain systems.

· Lead and manage the data migration of vehicle-related data from legacy systems to the new SAP S/4HANA platform.

· Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, reports, and custom developments related to vehicle management, leveraging SAP Fiori for user-friendly interfaces.

· Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting, offering training sessions for end-users and internal teams.

· Act as a subject matter expert for vehicle management within the SAP landscape, offering guidance on best practices and process improvements.

· Prepare detailed project documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

· 10+ years of experience in SAP, with a focus on SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) in the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
· Expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformations, with a deep understanding of the VMS module and related processes.
· Proven experience in configuring and implementing vehicle management processes, including vehicle orders, vehicle lifecycle tracking, vehicle delivery, and aftermarket services.
· Solid understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and their integration with VMS.
· Experience in OEM or automotive industry with complex vehicle sales and distribution networks.
· Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools related to vehicle data in an SAP environment.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
· Experience with ABAP debugging and working alongside developers to implement custom functionality in VMS. · Proven ability to work on large-scale transformation projects, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

· SAP S/4HANA certification or certifications in SAP VMS or related modules (SD/MM).
· Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and experience designing user-friendly front-end solutions.
· Experience with dealer management systems (DMS) and integrating them with SAP VMS.
· Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
