SCADA Programmer – Level 1 Location: Morrison, CO Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour About the Role This is an entry-level SCADA programming opportunity with a growing systems integrator specializing in water and wastewater controls, instrumentation, and data integration . Why This Opportunity Stands Out Work on technically challenging projects in water and wastewater automation Blend of field and office work —no two days are the same Located near the Rocky Mountains , with easy access to outdoor recreation Supportive, flexible culture with a strong focus on learning and growth Clear pathway to advance into a Programmer Level 2 role What You’ll Do Assist with the development, testing, startup, and commissioning of SCADA and PLC-based control systems Write and modify control code—from initial development through commissioning—based on project complexity Support field installations and act as a technical resource for technicians Provide guidance on: Control panel wiring VFD programming Network layouts Instrument scaling and calibration Site commissioning activities Troubleshoot communication issues involving remote telemetry and radio systems Develop and maintain HMI and ladder logic programs Collaborate with remote engineers and programmers as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Equivalent experience, training, or education will be considered Basic understanding of PLC wiring and programming , including: Sinking vs. sourcing 4–20 mA analog loops Ability to read and modify electrical schematics Familiarity with NEC standards Experience or exposure to: Instrument calibration and programming VFD programming and commissioning Ladder logic programming and structured program layouts Familiarity with SCADA/HMI platforms such as: iFix Wonderware FactoryTalk Ignition Red Lion Basic networking knowledge Strong proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and research skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to lift up to 80 lbs Valid, unrestricted driver’s license Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with telemetry systems using: UHF VHF ISM 900 IEEE 802.11 standards Travel & Work Environment Combination of field and office work Up to 75% travel , primarily within Colorado Typically a few overnight trips per month (may vary during busy seasons) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $35–$55/hour Full medical benefits 5% retirement plan contribution Paid vacation and additional benefits Ongoing training and support for continuing education #J-18808-Ljbffr
