- Job Role: Configuring and troubleshooting SCADA systems to ensure their availability, reliability, and security.
- Work Environment: Combination of office-based work and fieldwork at industrial facilities.
- Responsibilities: SCADA system configuration, proposing process improvements, configuring and troubleshooting SCADA components, partnering with client engineering teams, performing data analysis and root-cause evaluations, updating and maintaining system databases, collaborating with vendors and procurement teams, providing detailed progress updates, ensuring SCADA deployments meet quality and cybersecurity standards.
- Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field, minimum of 3 years of professional experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication and collaboration skills, additional working knowledge of SQL or MySQL, experience with programming languages like Python, Java, Javascript, familiarity with MS Visio, hands-on experience with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories low-voltage Real-Time Automation Controllers and Digi LTE Routers, knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau, some experience with SCADA systems in industries such as energy, water, or gas, working knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., Distributed Network Protocol, TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485) and SCADA communication standards.
