Job Summary
The Desktop and SCCM Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting desktop environments and application deployment for the organization. This role requires expertise in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, updates, and system management. The engineer will work closely with IT teams to maintain system integrity, ensure security compliance, and troubleshoot desktop-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
-SCCM Administration**:
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SCCM for software deployment, patching, and compliance settings.
- Automate desktop and application deployments through SCCM, including the development of packages, collections, and advertisements.
- Desktop Management
- Provide Level 2/3 support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices within the organization.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components on desktops and laptops.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, device drivers, and application compatibility.
- Implement and manage security policies on desktops, ensuring compliance with company standards.
