We are seeking a highly skilled SCCM / MECM Engineer to backfill a critical role following a recent resignation. This engineer will take full ownership of the SCCM environment, with an immediate focus on upgrading the SCCM site to the latest version and ensuring ongoing stability, maintenance, and optimization. This is a hands‑on, all‑encompassing SCCM role—not limited to packaging or scripting alone. This is a 12+ month, hybrid, consulting opportunity. The ideal candidate can step in quickly, work independently, and manage the SCCM environment end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Own and execute SCCM/MECM site version upgrades to the latest release Perform ongoing SCCM environment maintenance, monitoring, and optimization Build application packages from scratch using best practices Develop and maintain task sequences, OS images, and deployment workflows Create and maintain scripts (PowerShell preferred) to support deployments and automation Support imaging, patching, and software distribution across the enterprise Troubleshoot and resolve SCCM client, deployment, and infrastructure issues Act as the primary SCCM subject matter expert following departure of the prior engineer Required Experience & Skills Strong, hands‑on SCCM/MECM engineering experience in enterprise environments Proven experience performing SCCM site upgrades and version management Package creation and application deployments OS imaging and task sequences Scripting (PowerShell) SCCM infrastructure and maintenance Ability to own the platform end-to-end (not a siloed packaging‑only role) Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and participating in virtual interviews Able to start quickly and take over a mission‑critical function with minimal ramp‑up Nice to Have Experience supporting large, complex environments similar to Intel‑scale SCCM deployments Flexibility with onsite requirements depending on contractor status Prior experience stepping into environments after key personnel transitions #J-18808-Ljbffr
