Summary

This position is working mainly with elementary age school kids, the age group may include Kindergarten ages
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for them, planning simple crafts to help keep them busy and helping them complete their homework if that applies.
You will be supervising and facilitating their play both indoors and outdoors.
Must be able to handle and supervise groups of kids varying from 5-15 kids
Available hours to work are from 7am-6pm, totally about 30 hours a week

Duties

Besides what's listed in the job summary you will also be assigned some light cleaning duties like keeping your classroom neat and clean
keeping your area organized
attending staff meetings and trainings

Requirements

must be 18 years of age
CPR certified
Proof of TB test pass
completed fingerprinting
proof of passed back ground check
Minimum of 1+ years experience in a group childcare setting
High energy.
Ability to work well with others.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
