Job Description
Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide essential behavioral support services during the Extended School Year (ESY) in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, within Bucks County Intermediate Unit 22. These positions, based in various school locations nearby, focus on supporting students with moderate to severe behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavior specialist services aligned with individual student needs during the ESY program
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to implement behavior intervention plans
- Participate in orientation and preparation sessions prior to student instructional dates
- Maintain communication with team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of services
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA licensure compliant with Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements
- Experience working with populations exhibiting moderate to severe behavioral challenges
- Understanding of credentialing timelines and ability to meet all PA DOE credentialing criteria
- Reliable transportation with residence no more than 35 minutes from assigned school site
- Commitment to the full ESY schedule: June 29 through July 30, Monday through Thursday, 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM for center-based related services; student instructional hours 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Ability to work at assigned locations such as Fallsington Elementary or Samuel Everitt School in Levittown, with flexibility depending on enrollment and student needs
- Candidates must not have provided services to this client through another agency in the past year (minimum one-year gap required)
Work Locations & Schedule:
- Primarily Fallsington Elementary and Samuel Everitt School, Levittown, with 4 days per week, 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM schedules
- Orientation and set-up hours vary based on location and assigned hours per week
