School Bus Aide

Position Type: Transportation Date Posted: 7/15/2026 Location: Branchburg School District Date Available: 09/01/2026 Closing Date: 07/30/2026 The following vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District for the 2026-2027 school year: School Bus Aide Dates: September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 Not to exceed 4.75 hours per day Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities: Provide support to assigned student(s) during transportation, including assisting with safely boarding and exiting the bus, and ensuring care and supervision in alignment with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). Assist bus driver in supervision of students on the bus to maintain a safe environment. Assist bus driver in enforcement of rules of student conduct on the bus. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Transportation. Compensation: $20.59 per hour Benefits: Optical Reimbursement: Branchburg Township School District offers $325 per year towards optical reimbursement including prescription glasses or prescription contact lenses. Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position. Paid Time Off Sick, Personal, Critical Family Illness, and Bereavement Days are included.
