A part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) position is available to support a student in an educational setting located in Renton, WA. This role involves working with a third-grade student who uses a wheelchair and has asthma and seizure conditions. The position requires commitment on Mondays and Wednesdays, offering a meaningful opportunity to provide healthcare assistance and support within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care tailored to the students medical needs, including managing asthma and seizure protocols
• Monitor the students health status and respond promptly to any medical emergencies
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with school district guidelines and policies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LPN/LVN license with current credentials
• School Nurse Credential from DOE and ESA Credential required
• Experience working with pediatric patients or in a school nursing role is highly desirable
• Ability to manage medical equipment and respond to emergencies effectively
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school setting
