We’re partnering with a school in Hampden County, Massachusetts to hire dedicated School Registered Nurse.


The School Registered Nurse supports student health and wellness by providing direct nursing care, managing medical needs during the school day, and promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff.


Position Details:


  • Start Date: July 1, 2026
  • End Date: August 7, 2026
  • Schedule: 8:15am–1:45pm and 7:45am–1:15pm, Monday–Thursday
  • Grade Levels: 6–12
  • Location: In Person
  • School Year: ESY 2026


Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions.
  • Monitor student health status and respond to illness or injury during the school day.
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans for students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district regulations.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health and safety.
  • Promote health education, wellness initiatives, and disease prevention within the school community.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations and school policies.


Qualifications:


  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Knowledge of school health regulations, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple health needs in a school environment.
