Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join our dedicated team in the State of New York. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in educational psychology, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to address students' unique learning challenges.
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students, families, and school staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Consult with parents and guardians to provide guidance and support.
  • Advocate for students' rights and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in School Psychology (PsyD or EdD)
  • New York State certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Passion for helping children succeed
