\nAMN Healthcare is partnering with a Elgin school district to hire a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the BCBA will conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, manage behavior intervention plans, and collaborate with students’ families, school staff, and other support systems in education and advocacy. \n \nResponsibilities for this role include: \n \nPartner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students achieve their academic, social, and behavioral goals.\nScreen and evaluate students referred to behavioral intervention and treatment. \nAppropriately collect data, report findings.\nProvide evidence-based, direct, and consultative behavioral therapy services as required.\nMaintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards. \nProvide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to improve treatment and instill behavior analysis principles in everyday situations.\nParticipate on a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student performance. \n\n
Required Qualifications
Behavior Analyst, School
Licenses: BA-IL
Current Certification as BCBA issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Active BCBA Certification in Illinois
At least 1,500 hours of supervised field work
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Autustic students
Experience in supervising RBTs

Preferred Qualifications
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
