Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver professional services in a K-12 educational setting located in Lorena, TX. This full-time contract role is designed for the upcoming school year, providing consistent, impactful support to students in need of occupational therapy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students within the school environment, addressing their physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and document progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize your expertise in home health and healthcare OT to support diverse student needs.
  • Work alongside two onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who will assist in service delivery, ensuring efficiency and comprehensive care.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
  • Proficiency in home health and healthcare occupational therapy settings is highly valued.
  • Must be able to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Candidates who are Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are not eligible; this role requires a licensed OT.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for successful collaboration and service documentation.

Contract term: School year (NSY)
