Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity invites a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services across home health, healthcare, and school settings for a K-12 institution located in Woodway, TX. This full-time, contract position is designed for the new school year and supports students' developmental and functional needs within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions that promote student independence and participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including two onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to students' specific needs.
- Support transitions between home health and school-based therapy settings to encourage continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with expertise in home health, healthcare, and school-based therapy.
- Prior experience working with the K-12 student population.
- Ability to work onsite full time, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Comfortable working within a school environment and collaborating with school personnel.
- Preference for licensed OTs with no COTA certification, as two onsite COTAs will provide support.
