Job Opportunity: Scientific Policy Analyst

Location: Bethesda, MD (Onsite)
Education Required: Master's degree in a health-related research field
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex scientific variables and draft reports summarizing research findings and program activities.
- Conduct literature reviews to inform best practices, policy briefs, and program guidelines.
- Prepare and edit scientific reports, proposals, and technical documents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic planning, program evaluation, and data analysis.
- Develop materials for workshops, meetings, and Congressional briefings, ensuring clear communication of goals and outcomes.
- Provide support for cross-organizational initiatives, research collaborations, and compliance policies.
- Identify research gaps, formulate recommendations, and assist in synthesizing stakeholder input for senior leadership.
- Plan and execute technical meetings, workshops, and conferences to discuss research priorities and articulate agendas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Master's degree in a health-related research field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Experience: Background in conducting health-related research and preparing scientific reports.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Core Skills: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with NIH grants, funding mechanisms, and clinical research compliance is highly valued.
Field of Study Backgrounds:
- Biology, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or other related fields.
