Our client, a leading organization in the cosmetics and personal care industry, is seeking a Scientist to join their team. As a Scientist, you will be part of the International Innovative Ingredients Department supporting new brand integration and existing brand launches. Job Title: Scientist Location: Clark, NJ Pay Range: $36 per hour What's the Job? Proactively request and gather comprehensive technical data from suppliers to meet global safety and regulatory standards. Create specialized codes and upload supplier data into L'Oréal systems with high accuracy and integrity. Perform rigorous coherency checks on ingredient information using internal and external references to ensure data consistency. Communicate technical blocking points or delays promptly, providing clear updates to stakeholders to ensure seamless project flow. Manage evolving project priorities with agility, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines. What's Needed? Minimum Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related discipline. Previous experience in the cosmetics industry or in a cosmetic regulatory role is highly preferred. Validating of raw materials. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and communicate for multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
