Position Summary:
- We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Scientist to join our Bioscience Process and Validation team.
- This role plays a pivotal part in the development and validation of innovative biodevice products, ensuring they achieve a successful and safe product launch.
- The ideal candidate will take charge in a dynamic matrix environment, contributing to project leadership while ensuring collaboration across all team members, ensuring each voice is heard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product development initiatives for novel biodevice offerings, ensuring a deep understanding of biological impacts and device safety.
- Actively engage with engineering, Technical Service, and Field Service teams to evaluate and contribute to design requirements, specifications, and product testing.
- Conduct both in-house and customer test site evaluations, gathering real-world data to optimize device performance and safety.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments, applying bioprocess development and statistical analysis methods.
- Serve as a recognized technical expert, capable of creating new hypotheses and processes to support biodevice innovations.
- Manage multiple projects and assignments in a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective collaboration in a matrix setting.
- Facilitate effective communication with diverse teams, including external collaborators, to promote teamwork and project success.
- Develop and execute testing protocols for biodevice characterization and validation, documenting results in compliance with GLP/GCP standards.
- Participate in field work, including testing prototypes and conducting biological analyses, as well as traveling to customer sites when needed.
Requirements:
- Education: BS or MS in a relevant scientific field, or equivalent training/experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in animal research or relevant laboratory science.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative while ensuring team collaboration.
- Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for field work, with hands-on experience in animal handling and specialized laboratory equipment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to develop and implement testing protocols.
- Experience with GLP/GCP compliance is a plus.
