Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is needed to support a diverse surgical department in a rural, three-room OR setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your skills in a range of specialties including Orthopedics, Spine, OB/Gyn, Vascular, General Surgery, GI Endoscopy, Podiatry, and ENT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care focusing on orthopedic total joint replacements, amputations, spine surgeries (2-3 cases per month), C-sections, and newly introduced vascular surgeries such as carotids
• Utilize EPIC charting system to maintain accurate patient records
• Participate in on-call rotation to support emergency surgeries and patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse Experience in Operating Room (ORT)
• Current RN license; Compact licensure accepted
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Surgical Services Nursing (SSN) certifications required
• Demonstrated competency in managing surgical cases across various specialties
• Documentation proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call duties
