Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Certified Surgical Technician proficient in Operating Room Technology (ORT), offering a vital role within a dynamic healthcare environment in Byron, GA. The position is a contract role with the expectation of high-quality, patient-centered support in surgical settings, particularly in the Family Birth Center.

Shift Information:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call requirement: One night per every two weeks (7 PM to end of shift)
• Weekend rotation: 6 shifts out of a 6-week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)
• Holiday coverage: One shift on each major holiday including Thanksgiving Day or the following day, December 24th or 25th, and December 31st or January 1st
• Floating: Required to float within the Family Birth Center as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technician credential required
• Proven experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT)
• Ability to remain composed and efficient during high-pressure surgical procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility and willingness to float within the Family Birth Center

• Preparing the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures
• Assisting surgeons and nursing staff during surgical operations
• Ensuring sterile field maintenance and strict adherence to infection control protocols
