Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Certified Surgical Technologist or a professional with Nursing - ORT skills to contribute to patient care within an active Family Birth Center setting. This contract position offers a structured 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift that includes important on-call responsibilities and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled surgical technology assistance during operative procedures in the Family Birth Center.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical and nursing teams to maintain a safe, efficient operating environment.
• Float within the Family Birth Center as needed to support varying patient care demands.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, responding to call-backs approximately once every two weeks.
• Work designated weekend shifts as part of a 6-out-of-12 shift rotation.
• Fulfill holiday work requirements, covering at least one shift during each major holiday period (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Years Eve/Day).

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• Experience or certification in Nursing ORT preferred.
• Ability to function efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical settings.
• Willingness to float within the Family Birth Center to support patient care needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to respond promptly to on-call situations.
