Scrum Master

We are hiring a Scrum Master to support a high-impact eCommerce team heading into a major platform go-live this November. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile leadership, data-driven reporting capabilities, and experience holding distributed teams accountable for delivery across development, QA, integrations, and release management.

This role is 5 days onsite in Victor, NY. Ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the team, driving real-time collaboration, and making an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across a 3-week sprint cadence, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Partner with stakeholders to refine and prioritize the backlog
• Drive sprint execution, ensuring timely delivery and removal of blockers
• Track and report on team performance, including velocity, progress, bottlenecks, and overall delivery health
• Track progress, efficiency, bottlenecks, capacity utilization, percentage of completion, delivery forecasts, budget tracking, and time allocation for leadership
• Facilitate continuous improvement through retrospectives and lessons learned
• Support a hybrid Agile model, with a transition toward incorporating Kanban for longer-lead workstreams

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master on software development teams
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO), including reporting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
• Understanding of Order-to-Cash processes highly preferred
• Nice to have: eCommerce and/or Oracle experience

Job Details

• Contract through the end of the fiscal year 10/31/2026 with a 12 month extension available
• Hourly rates W2 with 401k and health benefits available after 30 days
• Corp-to-Corp available for independent consultants
