Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a SDET- Software Developer Engineer Test - Senior to join their team. As a SDET- Software Developer Engineer Test - Senior, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting Agile development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title SDET- Software Developer Engineer Test - Senior Location Phoenix, AZ or Southlake, TX (Onsite 4 days a week) Duration 12 months Employment Type W2 role - No C2C/No 3rd party What's the Job? Design and develop scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks for web services, APIs, middleware, and UI components. Collaborate closely with developers to understand application architecture and devise reliable automated testing strategies. Implement automation strategies within continuous integration and deployment frameworks to ensure high-quality releases. Maintain automation code repositories, test case repositories, and results tracking using tools like JIRA and BitBucket. Lead efforts in implementing BDD methodologies using Gherkin, Ruby, and Cucumber to enhance testing processes. What's Needed? At least 5 years of work experience in test automation, with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and experience with Object-Oriented programming principles. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, SOATest, and cloud testing infrastructure tools such as SauceLabs. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and test management tools including Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, Bamboo). Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality software releases. What's in it for me?
